Need a fun and easy party idea for the holidays? My neighbors are hosting a progressive holiday party this year. Do y’all know what this is? If you don’t, don’t worry, I’ll share at the end. I’m excited to be partnering with Coca-Cola® to share this fun party trick. When planning a party, my first stop is Sam’s Club. You can find the nearest one here. The bulk deals and Club Pick-Up are hard to beat!
Setting up a soda bar is perfect as it gives your guests, big and small, a fun activity. To create this soda bar, you’ll need the following:
1. Coca-Cola® Zero Sugar (I purchased the 24 pk. from Sam’s Club here)
2. Ice Cream or Frozen Yogurt
5. Candy Assortment
8. Cups or Mason Jars
9. Straws (I love festive paper straws!)
My biggest tip when making a soda bar is get an ice cube tray and freeze Coca-Cola® Zero Sugar in them ahead of time. This will prevent your drink from getting too watery. If you don’t have an ice cube tray, you can put your drinks in the freezer for about an hour so you can have ice cold Coca-Cola®.
Fill your cups with ice cream or frozen yogurt. Add in the Coca-Cola® Zero Sugar, but make sure you leave room for toppings.
The toppings are the final touch! I had sprinkles, marshmallows, cherries and little Coca-Cola® gummies.
So are you still wondering what a progressive holiday party is?! Ok, ok, I’ll share. All of our neighbors are getting together and doing ONE part of the party. For example, one house is having drinks, another appetizers, another dessert. The best part? Guest aren’t locked down to hours of commitment, but can attend as their schedule permits. It’s also a win for the hosts as they aren’t required to plan and prepare several courses.
It’s a win-win for someone, like me, who only has two or three meals they can prepare! Cheers to making your party a little more festive!
