30 Week Bump Date

Dress: Target: Sold Out | Similar | Similar

To think that I only have 10 weeks left to go is shocking. It feels like yesterday that I experienced all the emotion and shock of seeing two pink lines. We have such a crazy schedule the next couple months. We have her family baby shower, 1st anniversary and Sean’s birthday, she’s going to be here before I know it. With all that being said, so much seems to be happening each and every passing week.  So today is a quick update as I hit the 30 week mark.

General Feelings & Thoughts: Overall, so excited to meet this little girl. My husband will ask almost everyday if she can come out now… and I have to remind him almost every day that she can’t yet. I definitely still have days moments where I’m pretty emotional. Yes, pregnancy hormones are a real thing y’all. I’ve gotten to the point where if I’m running errands and walking around a lot, I start to feel sore by the end of the day. I’ve started to listen to by body more and relax when it tells me to [which is hard working a full time job and only have the weekends.]

Exercise: I have my days in this department. I’m still walking everyday, but I definitely thought I’d be more like my pre-pregnancy self and work out in the gym more. Like a said above, I’m listening to my body and when I have the energy to do so, I do it, but I don’t exhaust myself. With my job, I’ll actually start working from home one day a week, so we’ll see if I can find time during lunch for a work out. [I’ll keep y’all posted!]

Body: I do have to admit that seeing those numbers on the scale increase is never easy. I wasn’t one to weigh myself constantly before I was pregnant, so seeing it, now on a bi-weekly basis at my doctor’s appointments, is a little shocking.

What I’m Looking Forward To: Getting to see our little girl at our 32 week ultrasound, finishing her baby shower, and finishing her nursery!

Recent Purchases/Wish-List:

For her: Old Navy has the cutest little baby clothes! Here are some of the recent items we’ve bought for her. PS: they’re having a Fourth of July sale, so A LOT of items are discounted on top of their already great prices

Gold Jelly Sandals | White Floral Onesie | Pink Floral Onesie | Flutter Sparkle Dress

Here are a few items I have my eye on…I mean HOW CUTE are all of these items?!

Ruffle Shorts | Red/White Flutter Dress | Bestie Onesie | Metallic Romper

For her room: Decorating her nursery has been SO FUN! We moved into our house in November and decorated that pretty quickly because my husband wanted to host Christmas at our house, so getting to decorate a new room has been fun. Most of of house it very neutral, so I wanted to go with the same scheme, but add pops of color that could easily be transitioned as she gets older. We went to target last weekend and found these items for her. Let me tell you, if you have been to Target in a while, they have a new line babies, Cloud Island, which has the cutest items! We bought the first two items below from that collection

Changing Pad Cover | Sheets | Crib Pillow  | Polka Dot Lamp

For me: This week it started to hit me that she will be here in 10 weeks or less, so I’ve started purchasing items I’ll need for after she’s born. None of these are too exciting, but I’ll do a full post on packing my hospital bag and another post on items I’m buying preparing for post pregnancy

Grey Pajama Pants | Lanolin | Dermoplast | Tucks

*If you don’t know what the last 3 are, don’t worry, I didn’t know until I did a little research. I’ll fill y’all in on another post soon.

See you guys next time!
Katelyn
